Rain make up info and revised schedule- Brentwood Soccer

For the first time ever, in 25 years, Mother Nature got the best of Biddy Sports with a rain out in Brentwood 4-8. We were crossing our fingers but the rain and wind won out. Once in a while we get to play in a drizzle but unfortunately that was not to happen.

Here is the link to the revised schedule – we will add on 1/2 hour of play the last two weeks, so you will be there 1.5 hours on May 20 and June 3rd.

On behalf of all of us at Biddy, sorry for the inconvenience and we will see you next week.

Welcome, rain and season starts

2017 revised soccer scheduleBrentwood  Soccer starts Saturday April 8th at the Bristow MS fields- behind the school on Minnesota. Oakley T-ball starts Saturday April 15th at Summer Lake Park in Oakley.

Do we really play rain or shine? YES
Biddy Sports does play rain or shine, unless there is lightning, so we hope you will make it even if it drizzles. And hopefully it won’t actually rain.
Here are some tips- Besides an umbrella and rain coats, bring a towel to wrap your child in when they are done. Your child can play in rainboots and a raincoat. Plan on extra shoes for them and a bag to put the wet ones in when you get to the car. The worst part is wet feet/shoes.
If it is really wet, we skip the warm up and shorten the practice/ game. The kids have a blast and the parents tend to grumble a little, but fun is had. It is not often in our climate that kids have a chance to get wet and muddy while having fun, so embrace it. Even adults can jump in a puddle once in a while, have fun!
If you are enrolled I have been emailing you with league details, if you have not gotten anything please check your spam. Your coach should be calling with details and playing time. If you do not know your team number the Friday before you start, email me at julie@biddysports.com.
